Hi everyone:
I only have a few logs this week, because I have been suffering from an exteme noise problem. Only Saturday afternoon was quiet enough for good reception, but I was luckly enough to catch Russian pirate station Radio Snowball during this quiet period.
I have been getting extreme noise for several weeks now. I thought it might be a "leak" in my antenna feed system, allowing in electrical noise from my house. I replaced each piece of the feed system this Saturday, but the noise returned. I then checked online and discovered that I am receiving powerline noise, from a fault in the electrical distribution system. Using my car meduimwave receiver, I have traced the source to the next street. By checking online, I also discovered that elecric utilities are required to fix this type of "radio frequency interference" (rfi), so I called my electric company, and the "rfi expert" will visit late this week or early next week.
I hope to be hearing all my favourite stations clearly again soon!

Hi Terry,
The 7665 log on Saturday was me testing a new antenna on 20 watts for Central radio international.
Hope you get rid of your nasty interference problems.
Thanks for the report
