The Netherlands makes contact with Serbia!
There has been some talk on this forum about North European Pirates making contact with South European Pirates. Some of us can sometimes hear Greek Pirates & also Pirates from the former Yugoslav republics. But,please correct me if I am wrong,up until now there has been no success.
But last night,or I should say very early this morning,Radio Barones made contact on 1647Khz with a Radio Michor?from Serbia.
This is important. The contact itself will have been very satisfying for both operators, but more importantly we need to establish more contacts with our fellow Pirates in Southern Europe.(As we should with our fellow Pirates in the USA).
The more contact & interaction there is between Pirate operators from all countries the better for us all.
Well done Barones & Michor!!!!

Hello andy,
There is more contact with the south of europe by more pirates from the Netherlands, but that contact there was only radio Tornado in croatia.
It has done also with small power by radio Tubantia, he has about 25 Watt.
Link to tubantia and his confirm for the QSO with Tornado, his webside is mainly in dutch:
http://tubantia.no-ip.info/tubantia/for ... D=124&PN=2
Audio from contact from tornado and barcelona: http://home.planet.nl/~wouds094/hobby/a ... 000utc.mp3
Maybe in the future there are much more contacts between different countries.
greetings jan

No, "Tornado" and "Ju-1" are different stations. "Ju-1" is always very strong and I am sure he has at least 5 kW.
He is mostly over 1700 kHz and must be from Serbia.
Tornado is from Croatia using around 700 W (photo of tx is on my page).
I have sent a few letters to Greek pirates via my agent in Athens but no replies so far.... > (http://kotisivu.dnainternet.net/harriku/greeks.htm)
