Very noisy conditions here this weekend.
4000 to 4100 was very noisy.
5800 to 5850 was quiet.
6200 to 6220 was quiet.
6220 to 6450 was OK.
6900 to 7000 was terrible!
I'm guessing this was just local noise(Not surprising living in the London suburbs)
But,I'm curious as to the noise levels you had this weekend. Please post.
So,the noise did spoil my listening. But Orion and Merlin were OK and Scotland and Geronimo were so strong that they
overcame the noise anyway.
Strongest signal of the weekend here was Scotland, closely followed by Geronimo.Orion and Merlin were not as strong, but
were fine on fairly noise free frequencies.Scotland was much stronger here on 6400 than on 6285.
To be honest, besides KBC,all the rest were a struggle to listen to for me.

Re: London Calling.
Hi Andy,
Thanks for the reports, it's really a surprise te see that our signal on 6400 was stronger than at 6285. I use less power at 6400 because SWR is not ok there.
Optimal SWR is around 6280, only by using a ATU the SWR at 6400 is more or less accepteble.
Greetings, Albert
