We still have the very noisy conditions.Very annoying.
Still,a very busy weekend for Pirates though.
Except for the stronger signals it was a struggle to listen today though and even the stronger signals faded
into the noise at times.
If anything,Saturday had less noise than today,with some very strong signals.
I enjoyed Merlin's theme tunes and heard a very strong UNID on 6215.Anyone know who that was?

Today,Star had a good signal on 6220 but weak on 5800 with me.
On the 52m band Victoria was stronger on 5810 than Star on 5800 but Orion had the best signal on 5820.
Up on 48m I only caught Borderhunter closing down,having remembered too late to check 6165 - 6175!
Orang Utan was his usual good,clear and solid signal and Laser were strong for a while before fading right out.
Altrex with maybe his strongest signal so far here...........he is getting there.(Heard him singing and whistling
along to "Crimson and Clover".......)
Plenty of UNID's because of the noise.

Overall not a comfortable listen this weekend.But plenty to hear if you put in some effort.

Best signal was my UNID on 6215 on Saturday,then Orion and Borderhunter,followed by Star,Marconi,
Old Timer?,Scotland,Saturnus then Merlin,Black Power and Trans Europe.

Hello Andy,

It seems almost no one heard your UNID on 6215 on Sat. 19.

The only log with that one is from Maresme DX, also at 13.15, and UNID too.

It should have been only a short transmission.

Yes,that was very interesting as it was such a strong signal.
I only heard the signal for 7 minutes before it went off.

I wondered at the time if maybe it was Star doing a test.But then if it was why wouldn't they test on 6220?

It could have been anyone.Nobody has claimed it yet.

BTW,I did find some time to make some coils in line with a capacitor as you suggested some time ago.
And it has helped to reduce the noise levels a bit.Thanks for that!
