Early Saturday Evening Activity
I've got audio from 6400 here in NY at 2104 UTC. Just caught the end of "Stairway to Heaven', then a version of CSNY song, "Woodstock".
Also have presumed RWI's carrier on 6320 kHz.
Seems like good Europirate conditions again.

Hello,
I got the station on 6400 strong 9 +20 dB, but I think there is another station on the same frequency, the music is good.
Bella Italia is on 6306 at the moment, playing italian music.
And a station on 3936, maybe Montoya ?
Greetings.

Jamming on 6400!
Yes, I also hear two stations on 6400 at times. It sounds like the Achtung station, it is not always on. Some frequency sweeping, then they keep playing the same simple melody.

Haven't heard news yet, but 6400 probably same tester as other weeks. Transmitter apparently can put out more, but around 250-watts to test new audio processing equipment. He won't disclose QTH, but definitely European. Listen for nice classic rock like Floyd or Zep--that's a giveaway it's him. Plus he knows I like them from previous posts on here!
2230 UTC seems peak time on 48-m.b. recently.
RWI told me on 6320 'til at least 2400 CET today or later, and also on extended sched. tomorrow as well. Our friends in Europe are making it nice for us to have a chance to hear them--reception has been way above average recently especially for middle of August on 48-m.b., and a good number have been nice enough to saty on later for their friends here in North America. Hope some more will stay on past 2230 UTC this evening if conditions are as good as recent weeks. Cheers!

6400 at S5 here in NY at 2120 UTC, with "Smoke on the Water". Yes, very strong audio.
I also have a carrier from 6306.

Just got the news! Tester is back on 6400. Look for maybe something like The Who. Deep Purple also another classic rocker for us "old farts." Saw report of Bella Italia on 6306. Will have to turn computer off and radio on now. 48-m.b. should be coming in any time here now--probably a bit farther west so little bit behind on signals making it to you first.

Also have audio here in Florida on 6400 AM:
6400 AM SIO 232 08/16
Signal is just above noise floor with some fade.
21:36z 'Sir Duke' - Stevie Wonder
21:44z 'Freeze Frame' - J Giels Band
21:48z 'Heat Of The Moment' - Asia
21:52z sounds like another carrier on now...could hear what sounded like electronic tones from other station...
21:54z 'Teeneage Wasteland' - WHO; not hearing the other carrier now
21:56z 2nd station back on; off again at 21:57z
21:58z 'You Better, You Bet' - WHO
22:05z 'Who's Crying Now' - Journey
Haven't caught an ID yet...

Nice going Sealord. The electronic sounds are the jammer, it might even be the Achtung station. He seems to follow what we are tuning on one of the web receivers in the UK.

Welcome aboard, sealord!
6400 should be on for awhile. Look for some more classic rock like The Who. He likes to feature an artist during tests. Running somewhere around 250-watts from somewhere in undisclosed location (wonder if it's Dick Cheney!) Testing new audio processing equipment. Has sound excellent when he comes in here. Same from listeners closer as well. Hope regular programs will come in the future, but unknown at this time. 73's.
