Got e-mail from Merlin that they will be on tonight starting 7 p.m. UK time and running through the night. Frequency for this will be 6270.3, to avoid the splash from R. Cairo on 6290. Hope reception conditions will be good! Cheers!

Carrier dead on 6270.0 since f/in around 2200. About S-5 on the FRG-100B's S-meter at 2225, but unfortunately the static crashes are back after a nice 2 day reprieve. Music poking through 2227, but still can't ID any songs yet. Still a bit early (jnow just after 1830 local time), so hopefully signal will improve as it gets closer to sunset and then once it's dark. Will keep trying!
