Mikimoto Club, revival the best 80´s radio show in Catalonia

Next weekend Radio Barretina transmitt programs of the best DJ in the history of the Catalonian broadcasting, speak about Mikimoto (Miquel Calzada)
Miquel Calçada Olivella, also known as Mikimoto, is a catalan journalist born on August 13, 1965 in Sabadell (Barcelona).
He chose Mikimoto's DJ name for admiration to a Japanese who was cultivating pearls.
Your major program was "Mikimoto Club", a good musicl night show the weekends in Catalunya RÃ dio, that obtained a great hearing and a total loyalty of hundreds of thousands of fans.
The program was combining different musical styles, but the favorite was the funky i also the house.
The jokes, plays on words, witty and clever phrases, a holiday party here i there, the telephonic calls and the game with young girls listeners, turned Mikimoto into a species kind of " Catalunya's Wolfman Jack ".
The program also i jump to the screen of television and it rovoked a jump quality very importantly on we having be announced by the new format of the first famous "video-clips".
Curiously Mikimoto also relation with the world of the DX when he presented the radio program " Catalunya DX " being an important founder of the dx-club in Barcelona, but it is another history ......
Now, RÃ dio Barretina cap will transmit fragments of some of his programs and the last one of the series after being almost 5 years in antenna "last program in 20 January 1990".
This one is an honoring across the short wave to a program of radio and an important personage with whom many people we grew.
Nowadays Miquel Calzada is an important businessman in the sector of the radio and television, continues leading documentary and cultural programs.
I hope that "Catalunya RÃ dio" was returning to re-put in antenna these programs, but i do not believe that this is possible.
