Logs from Newfoundland, May 5-10

Post by newfoundland dxer »

Hi everyone:

Another great weekend on the radio. Not as many logs as last week, perphaps, but several new stations, lots of great music, lots of nice greetings and amazing signals from VOTN Saturday night and Fantasy on Sunday. Also, I was happy to be the first North American reception for Nova, and apparently I caught Moonlight's first broadcast (according to ukdxer's site).

I tried the early Sunday morning thing again, and, as usual, just a handful of very weak, tentative receptions. Evenings are still far better here, and it has been very nice to see so many stations active both Saturday and Sunday evening.
