Okay Eldorado!

Now we are talking signal here. 50 kW...heh...
I just came home and missed your test today, pity. Tomorrow I come home around 1900, we´ll see then how it sounds.

This 8005 kHz sounds interesting. Can you too try there or do you use crystals or something that keep you on 6261? 6261 is a very tough frequency to come down on because of the superpower on 6260...

Keep on trying JJ! 8)

I was back home specially for your test, and listening between 13.06 and 13.27. I found nothing around 6261 kHz, with 4 different antennas. The channel was clear, with quite weak local noise, and propagation seemed good. I found LHH strong on 6210,4 kHz and just to be sure, I also checked the 40m ham band and quickly found two hams speaking in Spanish on different frequencies. I can say there was not the faintest trace of a carrier (with BFO on to be sure) around 6261 kHz. So if you were really on this frequency, your real radiated power must be in the milliwatt range or less. Quite obviously, something is wrong. Maybe you could check if your coaxial cable is not shorted somewhere? Have you tried to receive your own transmission with a portable receiver at sight view from your transmitting antenna?

When you find that *main* wrong thing, then you could post a new announcement on the forum for a real new test. Up to that, work hard to find what is wrong. I hope you have a recorded test programme that we will be able to listen to some coming day.
