Post by Dave Valko »

3927 R. Spaceman Getting a little mx underneath Hams around 2342. Anmnt at 2355 and recognized voice as that of Mr. Spaceman. A minute later one Ham asked the other "Do you here music in the background?"!!! The other responded that he didn't hear anything. Another brief uncopiable anmnt and more mx by what sounded like Neil Young. 0005-0010 "Baba O'Riley" by the Who, then Spaceman w/anmnt including "...Spaceman. We are....Hello wherever you are.". Into "Won't Get Fooled Again" by the Who. Tuned out at 0018, and sounded like an off-shore pirate pgm w/recordings at 0021 check. (Valko 16-17 June)

6220.1 Mystery R. Hrd Chris Ise at 2342 as I tuned through. Anmnt at 2358 check w/laughing and ment of Mystery. Into Oldie. 0000 song anmnt, listener acknowledgment, then nasty pulsing UTE started. Ment of 6220 during 0015 check, and into Reggae mx. Mystery jingle at 0019. ID by Chris at 0020. Strong but fady and noisy. (16-17 June)

6329.96 RWI?? Spur?? Carrier and some Trumpet-like mx at 0024. M anncr 0026 along w/same mx. 2 men tlking at 0055. Disappeared between 0055-0059 as it was gone on check at 0059. Could this have been RWI up from 6325?? (17 June)

3940.02 R. Underground (tent.) Only a carrier from 0053 and Ham QRM. Much too weak to get any audio but definitely there. (17 June)

6400 WMR 0057 end of tlk by Jack Russell, then jingle, and Rock mx. Canned anmnt at 0101. Beside the noise, the UTEs seemed closer to the WMR freq than usual. (17 June)
