The bands have been noisy all week.I get a bit paranoid when it gets this noisy and start to look around my neighbours to see if they have some new electrical appliance,walking about like a madman with a radio trying to find the source of the noise......
But even at the bottom of my garden,which backs onto an open space,the noise was terrible.
This morning it had mostly gone!So,it is not local and just down to conditions.phew!
But conditions were still pretty poor today,even if the noise was not quite so bad.Actually,48m was not too bad for noise,76m,52m and 6.9Mhz were the worst for noise here.
Not so many stations heard today but a few good signals,all of which were completely fading out at times.
Orion was good as usual.Orang Utan has been better with me the last few weeks.
Victoria was strong.Telstar had one of the best signals ever here.
Merlin were pretty good.
I didn't get an ID on the station on 6315 playing non stop music,but from the huge signal,superb mod and dodgy CD player,my best guess would be Black Bandit.
Saturnus came in well too on 6330,a better choice I think than following Orion on 5820 as conditions on that band were worse than 48m.
Best signal of the day goes to 6315Khz,will anyone own up to it?
After that it was Orion,then Victoria and Merlin and then Telstar and Saturnus.

Hello Andy, thanks for the log. Strange conditions; got some good reception reports
6315 Indeed strong signal also here. If I am right close to dangourous freq. 6312 or so Saturnus was strong to, even Merlin dit it good, with little fading I have heard him with s9+10db and good audio.
