6310 kHz

Post by curious george »

Hearing a station on 6309.94 kHz around 2205 UTC. Played two songs from Thin Lizzy, then "Walk on By" from the Stranglers. Who it this? S7 signal into New York, it could be Radio Odyssey from Greece.

Hi George, it's Radio Odyssey testing! What about the Audio? Thanks for listening.

Hi,
listen via dxtuners.com in United Kingdom SINPO 34433 at 2245 Utc. Nice modulation, sounds good.

I recorded some audio. To be honest, the modulation could be stronger. WMR sounded a lot louder here. I'll send the audio tomorrow.

I am hearing it in Massachusetts. Weak, about S2, but I can hear David Bowie playing. Major Tom, now Let's Dance.

OK, I increased the modulation depth, now it's more than 120% according to my osciloscope. Maybe is the bass content that gives the soft impression. Anyway, thanks for helping.

Better Now

Just checked at 2318 UTC, and the mod does sound much better. Bass is real strong too. More QRM and QRN too. Recording it for you. S8-S9 in New York.
