Hi folks,
first of all, an entry about saturday 11th nighttime:
At 23.08 GMT, on 3905, Radio Borderhunter was instructing an italian listener on how to get more data about "Free radio summer meeting 2007". A spot on this two days of pirate radio got aired. Enquiries have to go to summermeeting2007(@)hotmail.com. Very good signal. Very pleasant statio. Sinpo: 44434.
Then, sunday, with good conditions here too.
At 6.35 GMT, on 6275, on Laser Hot Hits the reggae/ska program was ending. After a jingle, came the announcement for a 45 music slot. At 6.42 dj announced the show was dedicated especially to Jolly Roger, then played Red Rubber Bull from The Circles, followed by Georgie Fame. Sinpo: 34433.
At 8.54 GMT, on 6210, Cupid Radio dj gives id and read two sms on an instrumental track carpet. The latter of the two messages gives the station Sinpo 45433. Rinus then gave sms number. Signal wasn't bad, but suffering - here in Italy - of partial qrm from Mistery. Sinpo: 44434.
At 9.21 GMT, on 6220, Mistery Radio featured a programme, with a dj! In that particolar moment, he was out-ring a track from Dr. Alban. A Jingle "Mistery Radio Worldwide" on the X-files theme followed, and then "Allelujah" dance version got played. I don't know the rf of this station, but the jingle might be true judging from their signal. Sinpo: 54444.
At 9.23 GMT, on 6240, UNID. Signal and readability were good at first, when a dj announced a track in english, mentioning the Xmas period. However, during the song a BC started its dirty work on 6230, making this quite unreadable. In the mess that resulted I got, at 9.26, an advert for www.offshorerecords.com. Then another one in which the same Ontario address for Laser was given. However, I think it was BRI, but can't list is as that, since I didn't hear the id with my ears! A sign from Roger would be helpful and appreciated. Sinpo (before the BC): 44434.
At 9.27 GMT, on 6265, Germany was shining thanks to "On Air AM". "74/75" by The Connells was played, followed by a jingle with all the station contact info in english. A shorter one in deutsch followed. Station can be reached via sms at +491745217267. Sinpo: 34434.
At 10.26 GMT on 6265, Radio Borderhunter was thanking John of ORN for reception report. Then, a jingle for the "Summer meeting 07" got played. Sinpo: 44444.
At 10.30 GMT, on 6300, Tower Radio. At 10.54 a cover version of the Stones "It's All Over Now". Then, at 11.29 a phone call with a listener (in dutch) was played. Dj followed by giving id and contact info. Sinpo 44334. Two audio files are available and will be sent to the station.
At 11.11 GMT, on 7610 Radio Latino morning test wasn't that exciting at first (with Cuban Music playing). However, by 12.18 signal improved a bit ("I love you babe..." was then on). At first, Sinpo: 23322, turned in a 34323 at the second check.
At 12.50, on 6270, Radio Mazda was playing a schlager track with "Yodel" as recurrent melody. At 12.54 dj announced the station was about to sign off. Sinpo: 34333.
At 13.08 GMT, and for most part of the afternoon, on 6310 you could find a UNID playing pop 80's, but mostly house and techno stuff. At 13.23, a song from Ace Of Base was on. Judging by strong signal here, by the kind of playlist, and by the lack of id, I would bet on Malaisy. However, nothing was given, so I'll leave it that way.
Station: Degen DE 1103, with telescopic and an internal wire at first. From 10.26 I moved outside, coupling the radio with the Degen active loop antenna.
Thanks to everybody for such another interesting week-end.
Ciao,
Chris

Hi Chris
Thanks for your detailed report, I can confirm it was BRI you were hearing on 6240khz, we had to go on air one hour earlier that day, we normally start at 10am due to the problems received from 6230khz in the form of severe splash to our signal, by going on air at 10am we only suffer for approx 15mins as that official station then closes down, our 2 hour programme was on repeat throughout the day, did you manage to hear us later on?.
Thanks again Chris, hopefully the 26th Nov broadcast will be received with better results.
