Hi folks,

basically, lack of time - and I'd say not that good conditions - were my problem today. Anyways, something ended up on the scrapbook today, so let's go.

At 12.18GMT, on 6305, Radio Mazda. On a polka, dj announced e-mail radiomazda#hotmail.com and sms hotline 0031622957457. Some schlager followed. Signal not as strong as in previous times, but still readable. Sinpo: 34434.

At 15.17 GMT, on 6265, West Coast. At 15.32 Verve's "Bittersweet Symphony". At 15.50, "Aicha" from Cheb Khaled.

At 19.34 GMT, on 6305, a dj from a UNID gave station name (but it wasn't very readable) and the mail (on the hotmail.com provider). Then a John Denver/country style song followed. I then lost the signal (due to the poor conditions on the band at that time).

At 20.51 GMT, on 3925, a UNID on some music was "Calling cq all stations". Call repeated some two / three times, and directed to "pirate stations". Nobody answered and it fell off.

At 21.58 GMT, on 6220, Mistery Radio was on with its pop. Absolutely killer signal, almost fm! Probably the best way I ever heard this station. Sinpo: 54555.

At 22.28 GMT, IRF 510 show started on 3935. After an Elvis sounding like track (about a railroad and a 309), a very professional dj announced sms hotline 1748821423, to be accompained by the Germany country code. The number was repeated other two times. Then, dj named some of the artists to be part of the show. Among them, Ac/Dc and Pink Floyd. As for the latters, at 22.51 GMT "Learning To Fly" (a favourite of mine) was on the air. Sinpo: 44434. As I type, IRF is still on with all his very enjoyable Halloween effects and so on.

That's it, folks. Help with UNIDs will be highly appreciated as always. Station: Degen DE 1103, coupled today with the DEGEN active loop antenna.

Ciao,
Chris

About your UNID on 6305 kHz:

I logged the following last night

6305,1 1940 Radio Mazda
Guest

Thanks!

Hi Gert,

and thanks for the kind answer.

It was Lowland. Mazda I heard several times and have no trouble in reading their Id.

The only disappointment is that I see with the DEGEN I often have a frequency that doesen't reveals right.

I had the best signal on 6305, but wha everyone has on their logs is 6306. It's tough...

Anyways, thanks for your help!

Chris

Hi !

At 20.51 GMT, on 3925, a UNID on some music was "Calling cq all stations". Call repeated some two / three times, and directed to "pirate stations". Nobody answered and it fell off.

This was Paradox Radio. Closed down at 20.53* UTC
They were later at 21.35 UTC on 3930 kHz.
