Hi everyone:

It has been a strange week. Signals on 42 and 48 m have been fading in at the normal time, at pretty much the usual volumes. 76m, however, has been fading in very late (around 2300 UTC or later), if at all! Signals on mediumwave are behaving like 76m, fading in late and at low levels. (I have only heard Relmus and Baro on mw recently.) Maybe this is a regular summer thing, but this is my first sumer pirate hunting, so I am not sure.

Not too many logs, but a couple highlights. I heard QRP Low Power Radio reportedly using just 1 watt, which is a new QRP record for me. As well, I heard my 100th shortwave pirate on July 28, MRF Radio. It was really nice that my 100th was a friend from chat! Also new this week was Laser 531, Experimental Radio (US), Radio Marconi and the Red Sands Radio relay.
