Just realised.

Big respect to Playback Radio International.

They were the first station I heard this morning,they have been audible all
day and they are stiil there now.

I wonder if 58xx may be the place to go. The higher bands, 6200 to 6400 is very hit and miss. Playback certainly seem to fairly consistent. Time to look in the xtal box methinks...

Correct, Got PBI everal times on the receiver, mos times with fair signal.
I wonder if 58xx may be the place to go
Indeed Johnno, it's a good place to be, because the 48mb is mostly full of stations in the weekend. That was the reason for me to look to another qrg, after some time on 5725kc I moved to 5815kc and It works for me. But for the other pirates just use the 48mb, So PBI and I can use the 52mb ;)

Hi Johnno & JoJo,


It does seem to be more consistent down on 5.8Mhz.

As I posted earlier,6400 is no good in London after 1300.

There are a few erratic and powerful legal stations down on 5.8Mhz but
I am sure a couple of choice frequencies could be found.
