16 November 2008: I spent about an hour trying to decide whether to go out to listen or not. Mystery R. was peaking about S-7, but the MUF was 5 mhz and the K Index was up to 4. 4024.7 LHH was just a weak carrier. There was no other indicator. In the end, I braved the chill and the wind. I’m glad I did as 14 stations were logged. Conditions were, as Hans Johnson has often said, “Squirrellyâ€

6270 was Merlin, strong signal at my place until 0800, disappeared later... :cry:

Thanks dave for the log, much appreciated.
radio Merlin got some problems, someone cut his antenna cable during the broadcast; I guess the was at 0830UTC.
