London Calling.

Post by Andy Richards »

Not a bad weekend.
Seems that 76m is not as busy as it was a few weeks ago.A bit of a shame as it offers the chance of good night time broadcasts.
Radio Optimod had a nice signal on that band on Friday night and it served Laser well too.Laser coming through much better than normal today.
As for 48m,it was fairly busy today.Radio Viking had a cracking good signal on 6305 with a show from Tante Foeke. She is a bit of a character! She seems to know how to enjoy herself!
And I have to say her enthusiasm is contagious!!Good fun.
Best signal of the day was my UNID on 6295.From the nice signal, nice mod and from the choice of music,I would guess this was Boomerang.
Nice to hear Dr.Tim coming through so well today.
Was that WMR testing on 6400?

Thanks for all the replies.

Just a short response for Radio Nova.

I'm afraid I really don't have any more details about the UNID on 9290,they were just closing down. But as avranesjr said,it may have been Radio Victoria.

Whew! Its been a while since I last turned up here! Thats what college does to you...

just a quick note to say I also the 6400khz Big Country transmission. Being a very good scottish rock band, I expect this was probably WMR. Best thing I've heard on the radio in a long time... ^^

Regards, Robs

Strange, because user "Bycross Radio"is still active. Perhaps wrong password; or you need to clear your browsers cash etc?
