Hello,
who was on 6325 kHz from 18H43 UTC to 20H00 Friday May 2 evening ? I think it was "Skywire", but not sure, a lot of RTTY interference here. Good music.
Thanks.

Hello Iann!
I was listening to that station too 1907-1939. Stones, Beatles, Blondie... Nice music. At 1908 there was a live timeannouncement as 1808 and an announcement "...from the west coast of Ireland". At 1914 there was an ID "... Radio International". Irritating this, the signal was simply too weak up here...
Was it perhaps Merlin
At the same time I heard a station on 6305 playing "Moonlight shadow", "Red red wine" etc. Also this one slipped through my fingers without any ID.
Also a dutch station on 6401 (sign off 1832) and music on 6270...

If it was from the west coast of Ireland it was probably Premier Radio International. Although he normally uses 6265, I have logged him on 6325 in the past.
Premier is the only active Irish shortwave station at the moment since Jolly Roger Radio stopped broadcasting.

Yes, I heard "... from Westcoast of Ireland" too, and "... International Radio" (robot voice). Everytime there was an identification, I got RTTY noise interferences...
For the station on 6401, it was probably Pionier, they are testing this frequency since last Sunday, and I heard them on it Friday at 8H45 UTC.
Thanks for your help anyway.
Greetings.

Hello Iann & ukdxer!
It was Premier Radio International.
I sent a mail to the station and today I got a reply. They were testing on 6325 on friday evening, "checking different frequencies".
Now we can sleep well again when we know this...
Interesting information that Premier is the only irish station on shortwave nowadays. Some months ago I received a nice QSL from Radio Rainbow (via Laser) and put it in the "irelandsection". I thought Laser/Rainbow had the transmitters on Ireland. I must move them to UK i guess...
