A fairly long report and good conditions this weekend!!

6209.73 Radio 48?? Carrier at 2200. Not a sign of it on the Bedfordshire UK Web receiver. Strange conditions. (8 Dec.)

6310 UNID. 2213 end of mx then M anncr at 2213:35. Voice kind of sounded like Lowland but really could have been anyone. Still getting what sounded like Dance mx at 2218. M anncr at 2219:20 starting out with "This is...". Some UTE QRM here. (8 Dec.)

6399.92 WMR Rock mx at 2217 w/decent signal but way too much UTE QRM here. (8 Dec.)

9 DECEMBER 2007: I was floored when I woke up and checked the bands and found LHH 6420.7 and 4025.3, and WMR 6399.9 were coming in. I could tell right off that propagation was decent and that it was going to be a good morning, something that’s been pretty rare over the last 5 years. It was just as I suspected and hoped. The Solar Flux was 15 points higher than last weekend and around 20 points higher than its been hovering around all season. Just as importantly, the K Index was at 1-0. It made a huge difference. Stations were finally readable, and some quite nice. I was either tuning or writing the entire time!! I wanted to get started at 0700 but I had to follow the road crew in the last mile. The roads were a bit slick from the rain and drizzle that was freezing, and the Jeeps wheels ‘slipped’ several times. On the way up, I had to stop while 3 Doe (Deer) walked across the road in front of me. It was an interesting and fun morning.
