It is a public holiday here in the UK today.No activity at all,I guess the UK Pirates(Quite rightly) don’t see the point when the rest of Europe is at work.But ironically,conditions seem good with lower noise levels!
But conditions this weekend did seem better than last weekend.I didn’t post last week as I had little time to listen & conditions were too noisy here anyway.Result;Few logs.But for last Sunday I will mention a great signal from Radio Borderhunter on 6210Khz before 0900(55445 – S9 +30) and a good signal from WMR on 6400Khz just after 0900(45344 – S9).
Nice to see 76m getting more use too and good to hear WNKR on 3940 in the evening after 2200(32322 – S6) and Westcoast Radio on 3925Khz(43333 – S8).
As for this weekend,plenty to listen to.The biggest signal was a surprise,coming from Cupid Radio.He has had a good signal at my QTH before,but this was the best.Good signals from Radio Scotland,Radio Zodiac & Radio Spaceman too,although Spaceman was not as strong as normal here & suffering from deep fading.
Good signals too from Radio Valencia & the long broadcasts from Radio RP & WMR.Once again superb programmes from WMR.If you missed any part of their programmes they can be heard on the web at;www.wmrscotland.com ,I believe the programmes are there for a week.A great service!
Before posting I have just read DX Monitor’s post about Radio Telstar South on 5805Khz but I have to say,nothing heard all weekend here.And just now all I could hear was some terrible opera,a numbers station and a slight het.I guess they are the slight het………….
