13 December Report

13 December 2008: Being at the time of year with the earliest sunset, I decided to go up to the remote site and see if any Pirates could be heard and how early they’d come in. After checking the Bedfordshire UK Web receiver beforehand, I knew Mystery R. and Playback were already on. Conditions weren’t too bad, even after the recent passing of a Coronal hole. It was very quiet. And a little (quick) fading. Unfortunately the Power Tank died after only 3 hours.
