Unclear and rare stations on Oct.11-12

Hello, reporters for 11 and 12 October! You were quite a lot, with long logs!

I have checked all the logs I have found on Alfa Lima and elsewhere. Still looking for more details, and have a few exclusive tips.

All times UTC, frequencies usually +/- 0.1 kHz, tips in time order.

*** Saturday 11 October ***

5820 There was a very weak signal all day (no audio heard) before Playback came in.

6307.2 Who was using a child voice here around 7 and 8 UTC ?

6310 GRENSSTAD Radio heard from about 8.23 and interfered by R. CONDOR from about 9.20. R.Condor closed at 9.51 acc. to Manfred, and Grensstad still IDed at 9.39, but when was the C/down of Grensstad? And the s/on of DRP Radio ? First notice of DRP is at 10.23 (Manfred, with a "?" but from Germany - Black Woods)

6310 GRENNSTAD heard again 16.23 - 18.12* (3 logs and me), 2nd transmission or still the same one?

6300 RADIO VIKING SCANDINAVIA heard here in USB with ID at 14.55 and music (hip hop?), lost at 15.03 after maybe a SMS number. Anyone knows details about this station? (Country, email...)

6306.7 UNID, Irish music, 17.20-17.51, several logs (fq rounded 6307), nothing more.

3910 V.of the NL, 17.35-20.50* acc. to a bunch of logs, but no one gives details about IDs or songs played. Heard here : 18.43 "DRP Radio" said. 18.47 Let the sunshine in (from Hair). 18.54 Nights in white satin. Andy, is this what you name "gothic music" ?

3930 UNID, strong, 19.04-19.18*, acc. to Iann, Achim, C.Poland -Wolne?-, Foton, Andy, and me. So you're not so alone, Andy ! (Later, only faint signals on 3930).

6264.9 PREMIER R. INT heard here with clear ID at 20.51

6295 SPIDER R. 2nd transmission heard here after the first 21.00 C/D, begining with the same trumpet.

6850.8 UNID heard here in AM at 21.59 (could be M.A.C. from USA)

*** Sunday 12 October ***

7000 USB 6.54 Some asshole speaking above music (Dutch song, then "Voyages, voyages") and then sending white noise just above the good end of the 40m ham band! Hams still sending CW morse code nonetheless.

6220 Mystery R., ID at 7.05, other ID heard at 9.39. Meanwhile, music was not boring as usual and could have been from a relayed station. But Undigest says: "jingle ID at 0845UTC", something lacking in other reports. Also there was an other station under Mystery, at least a carrier causing hum.

5820 Playback, day long. Weak and disturbed by many utilities. At night, disturbed by a spy station (not "numbers" but "letters") with carrier a bit off (causing hum) and only upper sideband. So listening on lower sideband helps.

6265 ROZ, OSCAR ZULU, was playing like Malaisy (non-stop mx), heard as soon as 12.33 (tnx Iann), and C/D with ID at 15.11 and off at 1513. Other station underneath, see below.

6265 UNID, 13.29 - 14.05 approx. Interfering with ROZ, not so different music (can't say which one played Billie Jean at 13.33), but said "closing down" at 14.03.

3900 UNID, 22.12 - 22.24. Music and (phone?) talk, in AM, not SSB.

6925.6 USB, 22.35-22.43(end?). Mx and talk. 22.40 several annt interleaved with Mozart jingle (Ah vous dirais-je maman, or Twinkle twinkle little star, K.265).

And other hums and carriers, mainly in the 6305-6310 dutch common wave... ("graveyard" in US speaking!).

Ray

P.S. On Monday, about 19.30, V. of Iran 6205 had a spur on 6264.9 with strange modulation.

Another oddball - solid carrier all last night from sunset to sunrise on 5700 KHz. About a solid S-3 with the odd fadeout. No mod. Never heard a ute there either. :?

** edit **

It's back again tonight and there's another carrier on 6873.5 to match :-k
