Orion radio on air. Sunday August 21th 2005 0700UTC 48meter between 6265 -6350Khz, 0830UTC start testing 52meter 5725kHz
Frequency may change subject to co-channel interference.

Orion Radio very good today.
Strongest station on 48m at 0800UTC - 9+10dB. Good as well on 5725 - at 0830 - not quite a strong but still good and no QRM.
I don't why more stations don't use 52 metres as there is less utility noise than 48 metres.
Radio Free London used 5805 for many years.

thanks for the comment. Indeed I don't know either. Overall test was good! The signal in UK, Czech and Hungary was not so strong as the 48 meters, but good. In germany and france and the east midlands of Uk (WNKR) it was much stronger. I guess good Pirate band, and I will use it if 48 meter is full, or just as another pirate freq.
