Check this out...there is a great chance that The Mighty KBC will move to 6235 kHz for the broadcasts on Friday and Saturday starting at 22.00 hours UTC.
It's not 100% sure at the moment, but we are working it out. So if there is no signal on 6255 kHz, check out 6235 kHz.
The USA TX will stay on 6255 kHz.
Tell it your friends....
It's confirmed, we will switch to 6235 kHz for Friday and Saturday!

Now hearing The Wolfman Jack show on 6235 kHz s9 - s9+20 here in Guernsey, but also getting occaisional UTE QRM at 22.10 utc.
It's not actually drowning the transmission, but it is a bit annoying.
Okay now at 22.18 utc ...

Thank you Marcel for your fast report.
AM 1386 is only on Saturdays, so with some luck you can hear it tomorrow.
Have a sensational DX-weekend

Another cracking show by The Wolfman Jack on The Mighty KBC, this week on the new frequency of 6235 kHz.
Now free of any QRM from Cairo, reception has improved overall. Still around the same strength as other weeks (fading slightly between "s9-s9+20") and with little, or no, audible noise to speak of.
However, the only "fly in the ointment" tonight was some annoying UTE QRM around 22.10 - 22.15 utc, and again around 22.40 utc, (so my estimated SINPO rating this week will have to be a slightly unusual 44544), but what the heck, this is shortwave after all. I just hope that other areas of the World are not affected more so by this interference ... only time and reception reports will tell.
Anyway, tomorrow evening I will probably still be mobile when KBC "air" the Saturday night transmission, so I will be doing a more critical test of the new frequency using just a hand portable Icom IC-R10 and a telescopic twig antenna.
So best 73's till then Folks,
And meanwhile, keep rockin'...
