BRI is scheduled to broadcast on Sunday 14th/28th October with our usual programmes...
Included this month will be more offshore radio memories from Dave Cash and Ed Stewart, BBC radio 1 on their first day in 1967!!.. (well its a special occasion so it had too be mentioned) and some audio ref: the Danger man programme which was filmed on the Red sands fort in the Thames estuary in 1966, also the rare 60s archive which we have increased to 4 hard to find records from the 60s.. thanks to the people who suggested that we should expand this feature.
This months broadcast should be on 6245khz from 10am UK time, there are some doubts as to whether or not the webstream will be running? but please do check this at www.geocities.com/britainradio48
A note ref: QSL card fans, just at the moment we only have our usual cards which we have been using for quiet sometime, at some stage in the future there will be new ones printed, but in the meantime if you would like one of these send a report via email requesting one and we will see what we can do, our mailing address in Ireland is still operational but letters do take much longer to arrive at BRI nowadays. there are just a few BRI key fobs left in the goodie box along with a few BRI pens!! we will send these out on request.. for detailed reports up to 60mins of listening to our programmes also if possible a list of some of your favorite songs so we can play these in future shows.
