What a coincidence..
KRH- radioclub has summer DX-camp on this weekend, so we will try listen at Sunday morning... though I think it's not good propagation on that frequency at that time of day from Germany to Finland... but it never know..
Sincerely,
Jussi (fi6jsp)

Hi Jussi,
thanks for reply. For us its also an experiment, but normally it works also on Orion Radio, who was broadcasting the last weeks on 5720 and 5725. On 48 m we will see, because we are only low powered stations..
Have a nice meeting and greetings to all members of the KRH-DX club.
So,maybe till sunday morning

At 07:00UTC very weak signal on 5700kHz Audio was too weak, that we would have got to know what language there spoken... etc.
About 15min later audio and carrier wave disappeared completely. Nothing on between 5650 to 5750kHz Lot's a thunder strikes on the frequency.
We had in the use 200m wire-aerial as the direction central parts of the Holland (230°) and About 100m to the wire-aerial, which was as directed towards the mainly middle east (110°), we didn't hear anything.
We use receivers Yaesu FRG-8800 and FRG-100 for both antennas... and some MFJ tuners
(((At same time and couple of hour later we could hear on 6400kHz some Dutch pirate (sound's like a Spaceman??) but signal was also there so weak, that we didn't copy the ID.. (SINPO for 6400kHZ 12222)))
During the weekend 150-500kHz could listen very clear on night and daytime too, but all other frequencies was very poor propagation all the time... Our location was KP12JO (
On the map)

Hi Jussi again,
thanks of course for trying to catch our signal. Think 5700 kHz worked very well, but there were also different reports here from Germany. We used also 6260 with less audio, but from time to time it was stronger than on 5700 kHz.
I heard from the early morning till late on 6400 the scottish station WMR...
Till next time.
