Conditions still far from stable on 48m. Last week there was no sign of WMR at this time in the morning, but this week he’s pounding in and can’t hear much else apart from the jolly sounds of Orion Radio.

6400.00 WMR 07.18 – peaking up to 10dB over S9 and checking 3910 running in parallel that is only managing to peak at S9. Interesting program this week with Paul Graham reminiscing about pirate radio over the years and I nearly choked on my toast as he talked about the toilet facilities, or rather lack of them on the offshore station Radio Delmare in June 1979

5720.00 Orion Radio 07.57 – good signal also peaking 10 dB over S9, suffering a little utility interference and a fair amount of fading. I do like this station and the Dutch music, although at the moment Don McClain’s American pie is being played.

Updated log for Sunday morning.

6210.00 Border Hunter Radio 11.20 – strong signal peaking S9 + 15dB
6244.60 BRI 11.23 – quite a bit of fading but peaking S9 + 5dB
6275.00 Laser Hot Hits 11.26 – peaking S8 but fading
