Enigma TKR is due on air on Sunday 09 April from 9 am to 3 pm on 846 kHz Medium Wave.
Try to listen on your radio receiver.
There may be a web stream available, unfortunately it will probably be via a radio receiver in a fairly weak signal area, but gives an idea of how the station sounds.
Try the following browser link:-

Or paste into your media player:-

The station hopes to provide a better quality web stream in the future.
Happy listening!

Hello Oscar,
Please don't take this the wrong way,but I've just read your post about Enigma at 2024 UTC & so it is too late to listen.Your first post was when they were already half way through their broadcast.
Why not post 24 hours BEFORE they go on air. Then your post might have some use.
Andy Richards.

Hi Andy,
Thanks for the reply. No problem at all mate but I would point out that in fact I posted late on Saturday evening and the broadcast began at 9 the following morning (Sunday).
I checked the stream at 9 as the broadcast was firing-up and there were already a number of listeners connected.
The project is not mine and I am just lending a hand to pass the word around as per the instructions of a friend.
Some people have sometimes expressed some concerns about giving too much public early warning about ventures of this type for understandable reasons.
Personally I think it is a question of getting the balance right. Excellent websites like this one (Thanks Alfred) are a brilliant way of letting people know about free radio broadcasts that are on air.
We know that these days it is much more difficult to get listeners than it was a few years ago.
Sorry you missed the Enigma TKR 846 broadcast. Easter is coming. Have a happy one and keep listening.

Thanks for the reply Oscar.I look forward to the weekend & will be listening.
I would like to make one point, though, about announcing broadcasts early.I think that too much is made of the fact that if you announce a transmission early then the authorities are forewarned & that somehow this gives them a better chance of tracking you down and raiding you.
The fact is that if the authorities want to raid a station, they already know more or less where you are coming from.If they want to raid you on a particular day & you don't come on then it is a day lost. But if you do come on they can be at your location in less than 2 hours.
Announcing your broadcast in advance gives you & your listeners an advantage, but virtually no advantage to the authorities(Bearing in mind that most stations are on almost every weekend anyway)
For Dutch operators this means getting caught. For UK operators it means losing gear.
Let's not worry so much about the authorities,if they REALLY wanted to shut the Pirates down they could.
Andy Richards.
