A lot of really good radio this weekend.

Where do I start?

Great to have Spaceman back! With an unbelievable signal on 3900 on Saturday night!
Not quite so strong early tonight on 3940,but still a good signal.Same strength as Saturday by 2100.
Liked the cover of "La Isla Bonita" and the Elvis!

Borderhunter started my day off today, with another huge signal on 6210.Some nice Heavy Rock for breakfast time!!
He closed at 0933.

Merlin got stronger as the morning went on.Good mix of all sorts of music.

What can I say about Free Radio Victoria.I like him more every time I hear him!
When stations play "Classic rock" they tend to play the same old songs.Great songs, sure.
But it's nice to hear some slightly different "Classic Rock".Which is exactly what Victoria did today.
Sounded nice and fresh!

Phoenix Radio came in pretty well again until Magic came on nearby at 1023.

Magic was pretty strong but I think the mod had too much bass.

The highlight of the weekend, for me,was FRS Holland.
I don't often get a great signal from them. But today they were HUGE on 7600.
So much so that I listened to them solidly from 1130 till about 1430.
Great programmes.Peter Verbruggen was superb as usual. But my favorite show was Dave Scott's "Radio Waves" programme. With a similar format to his shows on Geronimo.
I loved the Blue Horses track "Sleepy Hollow".
Good music & good Radio stuff!
But they should have closed at 1500 as scheduled as they were flattened by a German language programme before they closed.

Nice way to end the weekend with Skyline playing an unusual but strangely enjoyable mix of music and Spaceman blasting away.

So the weekend ends as it began........with Major Tom.......and what a great Pirate filling in between!

Thanks to all the stations that broadcast this weekend.

Strongest signals of the weekend were FRS Holland,Spaceman & Borderhunter.
Then Scotland,Merlin & Magic.
