Good morning John, very poor conditions this Sunday morning. I have been listening for about 15 minutes but nothing from you on 5720 and nothing from WMR on 6400, hope things pick up soon!!.

Not good conditions this morning, can only hear yourself peaking 5 dB over 9 and another Dutch station Radio Condor? on 6310 Khz. No UK stations and nothing on 6400 from WMR.
Play a nice jolly Dutch tune for me and have a nice day.

I'm in a place called Great Yarmouth on the Norfolk coast, (east coast of the UK).
Using a NRD 525 Rx and a 30m long wire up about 10m.

Just caught the end of Orion Radio on 6299.85 Khz @ 10.12 and a UNID on 6310.00 @ 10.15. Normally hear Orion Radio early Sunday morning on 5720 but I had to go and pick the mother in law up yesterday so was not able to do any monitoring until the early evening. Not great conditions but picked up the following tonight.

6400.00 WMR 19.10 quite a bit fading but peaking S9 + 10dB
6310.00 UNID 19.12 peaking S9
5805.00 Radio Telstar South 19.15 fading signal but peaking S9 +5dB

Conditions still far from stable on 48m. Last week there was no sign of WMR at this time in the morning, but this week he’s pounding in and can’t hear much else apart from the jolly sounds of Orion Radio. 6400.00 WMR 07.18 – peaking up to 10dB over S9 and checking 3910 running in parallel that...

These guys must be running on Duracell’s because whilst all the other stations on 48m have faded into the noise they are still pumping out those sixties hits on 5805 Khz, even Jack’s powerful WMR has disappeared into a Scottish mist.
