I posted the following 28 May at 0036 as UNID on 6309: "Nice signal here on 6309.0, now 0033 UTC and have been hearing it for a good 30-minutes, but being hammered by static crashes from the seemingly endless thunderstorms in the area the past 5 days or so. Sonnet Radio Europe? But signal is qu...

Yes, I can also put on a CD, a cassette, or even an old LP! But I am not rich enough to have a copy of EVERYTHING ever recorded! So sometimes when I hear pirate stations, they are playing something that I do not have a copy of. And some music might be available in Europe that is not available over h...

UNID on 6650 USB

:?: I was hearing very faintly a woman singing old jazz or blues on 6650 kHz. UpperSideBand around 2200-2230 UTC. Very fady and with static crashes from rainstorms here which have been around since Wednesday last. Other listeners in Europe that were in Iann's chatroom at the time were also hearing i...

Excellent for 70-w. then! Unfortuntely, many thunderstorms in this part of the country the past few days, and apparently for the next few days, so more static crashes than normal for this time of year. But solid carrier on 6309.2 and clear modulation when it comes through. Signal is slowly getting s...

Got something on 6309.2. Just heard a tune that mentioned something about "Round the outside." About S-5 on the S-meter, but some fading, and a fair amount of static crashes.
Is this SRE. And what is the transmitter power?

Yeah, the Dr. Pepper is a little different from the usual Cola mixed with Rum. Didn't know if anyone in Europe knew about Dr. Pepper or not. I was on Iann's chat a few hours ago, and Dr. Tim mentioned he heard you and got a nice reply. I'll send a report for the earlier reception, and will be listen...

Hey, Johnno, long time! (I was sick most of April with a bad, and painful, kidney infection, though). I'll be back on Iann's chat in a couple of minutes, after I refill my Bacardi and Dr. Pepper.

Still hearing a little something but the Sahara station, even though only 10-kilowatts, always puts in a good signal here. They will be off if you come back at 0400 UTC, though. That is only midnight local time, here, so I will still be up. Thanx!

OK, I have a carrier around 6309, but splash from the Sahara station on 6300. A little bit of music poking through from you now at 2202 UTC, thought I heard a voice say something like "Sonnet Radio AM," then back into dance music. Splash from Radio Nacional SADR on 6300 making it difficult...

Small carrier around 6325.2, but still early here, only 1748 local time. Better here for 48-mb after 2300 UTC.

I have talked to Gertie from Delta R. on the phone. He does not have a computer, so I'm sure he will not see this, and cannot be contacted via e-mail.
The only way to contact him is either via snail-mail to the Ruurlo address, or calling the studio line he gives out when he is on the air.

Ouch! sorry to hear that about Jimmy and Premier. sad:: And Andrew, I also heard Quintus and Premier here. I was on Iann's chat room when Quintus came on and posted an e-mail from Andrew in the U.S., so I knew it was you. Check out the chatroom sometime: http://www.easyshopdiscountzone.com/radio/pir...
