24 DECEMBER 2009: Had to go up to the remote site for a Christmas Eve micro-DXpedition. It was rather successful too with about a half dozen Pirates heard as well as Greenland. The Geomagnetic field calmed down a lot in the last day or so. Conditions seemed about normal. Not good, not bad.

ANT: 315' Beverage (BOG) at 50°.
QTH: Pennsylvania State Game Lands #26
Duration: 1940-2230 UTC
Solar Indices: Solar Flux = 71 A Index = 1 K Index = 0 No storms.
WX: Mainly clear (sunny until the Sun set). Chilly, around 26° F. (-3° C.)

4025 LHH Signal there at 2046. Not enough for audio. M anncr at 2153 but impossible to copy as too weak in the noise. (24 Dec)

6220 Mystery R. Strong w/Dance mx at 2005. 2020 CW and W ID, back to mx. (24 Dec)

6259.73 R. Paardenkracht Big signal at 2157. Dance and Pop mx then. ID at 2207 w/ment of “good afternoonâ€
