29 NOVEMBER 2009: By the look of the propagation data before leaving for the remote site, it wasn’t very promising. Indeed, conditions turned out to be poor to very poor. All signals were weak with a lot of quick fading. And again, there was a small 5 mhz MUF area over Iceland. Very disappointing.

RX: Microtelecom Perseus SDR with ARR preamp.
ANT: 315' Beverage (BOG) at 50°.
QTH: Pennsylvania State Game Lands #26
Duration: 0700-0930 UTC
Solar Indices: Solar Flux = 73 A Index = 2 K Index = 0 No storms.
WX: Partly cloudy and Moonlit. Comfortable, low 40s (around 6° C.)

7610.05 R. Amica 0716 Dance mx. Not strong and fady. 0720 usual canned anmnt by M and W but impossible to copy. 0726 M again but still too weak. A lot better at 0918 check w/IT tlk by M. (29 Nov)

4025 LHH Not even a blip on the spectrum at around 0710. A few peaks w/strains of audio at 0734. (29 Nov)

6870.02 Playback Int. 0729 just strains of audio about every 5 seconds. No hope. (29 Nov)

6373.22 Flux AM Seemed to be hear as early as 0800. Drifted up to 6373.24. The spike on the spect. only showed up every 10 seconds or so. Had hints of audio a few times at best. (29 Nov)

5815.03 Orion R. 0802 Percy Faith s/on tune. Canned ID at 0803, and into lively DT Pop, followed by “Waterlooâ€
