Seems like short skip earlier today.But still really busy on the bands!
Dutch stations were all weaker than normal,but the plus side for me was good signals from Telstar and Merlin.
Orion Radio still on every week,not as strong as usual,due to the conditions but still a good signal and a nice programme too.
Telstar South probably had the best signal ever here,good to be able to hear them with the sort of signal they normaly get to NL!
Paardenkracht was not as strong as normal but was still good reception on a nice clear frequency.
I didn't recieve Mystery/Playback till mid afternoon,but they just got stronger and stronger.
Faded a bit now as I post.
Who was my Focus fan UNID on 6260?Not strong but a nice clear signal.
Merlin was huge all day with me.He often has a pretty good signal here but was very strong today.
Shadowman was strong...of course!
The usual mess on 6300/6305........but not as bad as usual today.One station on 6300(Marconi?)and another on 6305(Brandaris?)Both of very similar strength and they kept fading in and out on each other.Neither seemed to be strong at the same time so one always dominated.Had they been another 5khz apart they would have both had good clear signals.
Playback were trying out 6305 tonight.Why?
Maybe not as much noise as 6870 but too much interference.
Why not try the 52m band?
Black Power was strong too.I like his taste in music.........
Who was my UNID on 6395?Too much interfernce from Russia on 6400 but still breaking through!
