Free radio pirates on medium and short wave messageboard of alfa lima

Another good weekend.This could become normal!

76m was noisy all weekend with me,nothing heard at all.
52m was OK.
48m had little noise in the morning but got very noisy in the afternoon.

Saturday only had one strong signal,Radio Zodiac,very strong here.And some good music of course!

Sunday was very busy.Orion Radio was by far the best signal on 52m,he is solid every week here now,with a nice selection of all types of music.

As for Telstar South,they are very good,their programmes drip with nostalgia,which I am sure is the intention of "The Golden Boys".Good selection of tunes,loads of useless but interesting information.Very entertaining.But you know what?
The main presenter drives me mad!He shouts all the time and then for no real reason HE SHOUTS EVEN LOUDER!!!.....................drives me nuts!!!!

Just my opinion.

Radio Borderhunter had another huge signal today.Good quality mod,good music and of course Frans with his usual friendly presentation.

The only other station as strong as Borderhunter today was Shadowman.
What wonderful music mod!!!But what a price to pay............splattering.
I remember back in my time on MW the stations with the best mod all had a lot of splatter.We tried to control it on our signal with compressors,limiters etc.But at the end of the day the choice is good mod and some splatter or narrow mod and no splatter.
It was not a problem in my days on MW,but it is a problem now on SW.
Shadowman,you need to take a look at this.Great mod though.........................

Radio Merlin were very strong with me on 6305,but not so good on 6215 later.
Nice mix of music.

Strong signal from Brandaris on 6300 too.As always a nice presentation and some good music too.

Unfortunately Radio Altrex was not too good with me today,I enjoy his comments.

Who was the Beatles fan on 6265?

Trans Europe Radio was at times quite strong with me.Was it him saying that he was using a very small transmitter?

Grensstad Radio was also very solid here,despite some interference from Merlin.
His signal held up well and at times was very strong.

Others have given good reports for FRS Holland on 41m.But it is not working for me.
Too weak and fading right out too.

All in all,it was another enjoyable weekend tuning across the Pirate bands!!
