Warm with clear blue skies and sunshine in London.

It has been a long time since I have heard as many stations over a weekend.
Conditions were quite good this week.

Albert of Radio Scotland was complaining that his aerial was not very good, but it was the strongest I have heard him for a long time.

6220 was Mystery Radio and 6870 was Mystery/Playback?I am curious as to why the difference.Mystery had a good signal all weekend and Mystery/Playback had a pretty good signal this afternoon.

Telstar South were the strongest they have been here in ages.Shame about the het.

Orion Radio are rock solid every week with me now.

Radio Borderhunter had some technical problems today.I may be wrong, but I don't think he was using his main rig.I think this may be one he is "playing with".Good signal but very bassy and quite low mod.

Free Radio Victoria was on for quite a long time and with a good signal on a poor frequency.
Good music and nice mod too.The mic was very trebly but nice and clear.

Radio Malaisy were very strong on 6310 this afternoon, best I've ever heard them.

Strongest signal of the weekend was Radio Boomerang of course! But Radio Scotland ran him a close second.Third was Mystery Radio on Saturday night. Then Orion Radio and Radio Borderhunter.

As I post this just after 1830 UTC,Mystery Radio are crashing in on 6220,Mystery/Playback are good on 6870 and Skyline Int Radio is fair on 3900.

I'm listening to a good signal from Radio Barones on 1638 now........enjoy what is left of the weekend!!

Hi Andy,

Thanks for reporting!
It's amazing that reception of R.S.I. on 3900 was that good...
If you see the antenna i was using, you starting a loud laugh.
Vertical antenna, mostley hanging inside a three!
That was only experimental, next time the antenna is 'free' outside the three.

And the SWR of the dipole for 48 is still not ok.
Better then before, though.
Let's say acceptable, not optimal.
Work to be done till i get to1:1.

Greetings,
Albert.

Hey Albert!

I could tell from the way you were talking that the aerial was really poor,
but your signal was amazing!Maybe you have a very good earth........

I'm guessing it was pretty high, even if it was in the trees.
