During the week after 23:00 (local time) i hear a station from Ireland on 1395 named Energy Power AM.

any others received these test transmisions?

Energy Power AM is well known for years now... Not exactly testing, usually broadcasting on weekends and well heard after Tirana/TWR sign off on 1395. Power annoiunced as 300 or 330 watts, not any idea of the antenna efficiency.

WNKR is about 1394.8 kHz, to avoid the hum from Tirana, but Energy Power AM is stronger and right on 1395, so the hum is heard after Tirana c/down...

yes ray you are correct, they broadcast mostly weekends.

they used to broadcast on 1386 when big l where using 1395

Hi Ray

I calculated the efficiency to be about 30%. Maybe a little more. Its a T antenna, not very high, maybe 12 meters or so.
