I'm guessing that it was "Long skip" conditions today.

76m was nice and quiet and even weak signals could be heard well.

48m was a bit noisy and no really strong signals heard.

52m was very noisy.Terrible.

On 76m both Victoria and Skyline came through really well, despite weak signals. The band was so quiet that you could have heard a pin drop!LHH crashing in on 4025 too!!

On 52m I heard Orion only briefly. He was about as strong as normal, but the noise level was so high that every time his signal faded to S8 or below,he was gone!

As for 48m it was fairly noisy but I couldn't hear many stations. Was there "Long skip" today?
How was reception in Scandinavia and North America?Playback were crashing in on 6850 and were pretty good on a noisy 6300 later too.

Best signals today were Laser Hot Hits and Playback Radio Int.
How often has that happened?
