Two weak stations ontop of each other at 0910 UTC, one a woman's voice with chatter, one a man with music. RTTY on top of both.
Was anybody on this frequency this morn?
BTW - Congrats to you both... perfect zero-beat carrier between you

North Korea PBS Pyongyang is usually heard here before sunrise, so maybe one. Also Equatorial Guinea Radio Nacional via Malabo has been reactivated recently here as well, so maybe the other?

Hi,
N. Korea was possible for the female voice. I couldn't understand her and thought it was because of the QRM. The male was an english speaker and thought I caught a Dutch accent.
Conditions this morning were rather unusually poor for SW to NE comms (usually they boom in just before sunrise... was nearly dead this morn.) and the usually crappy N to S, 49m polar shot was rocking as Russia was knocking my socks off (as in S-9 with just the built in antenna).
Cheers!

Korean is a hard one to understand, so prob. was the YL. And I forgot you're in same part of the world, so too late for Malabo to propagate over here. And neither uses English on this freq., so probably was European. Hope someone else heard it, or the op. will see the post and reply. 73's!

Hi,
Could it be an intermod ? (an intermod has zero-beat, perfect mixing)
Look for strong signals equally spaced (e.g. 6210 and 6230 -> 6250)

But no other SWBC'er anywhere near there in English that time of day that would propagate over here, and good time from Europe though, so still good chance was a pirate.
Also, picking up carrier right now on 5810.0, and only SWBC on this freq. is WEWN, which doesn't come on until 0000 UTC, and per Glenn Hauser's World of Radio, is off air for a couple of weeks. Maybe also pirate on this freq.? Still not close enough to sunset here to come in well yet. Anyone else p/up something on 5810.0 now?
Alex.

Not heard in the pacific TZ anyway this afternoon.
All stations were too weak at the time for an intermod. Loudest stations on that band here are Cuba and Australia, both off air. Couple of CG utes, but were below S7 and lower. The booming Russian was on 22M... 13635.
If it was an intermod, was from well outta band. AM BCB was full of Mexicans S9+ with the E5's antenna folded down and RF amp on "local", but no Dutch accents
If a pirate, this'll be my first Euro hit!
Cheers!
