Conditions seemed rather poor this weekend. Yes the first sunspot of the new cycle was seen months ago, but when is the cycle really going to start??!!
6215.8 King SW 0846 sounded like a Russian Rock song at t/in. Faded. A little better at 0853 w/song "I'll Be Gone". Fading almost like MW. 0855 echo "King Shortwave" ID, and into "Casey Jones" by The Grateful Dead. Tuned out at 0900. Nothing else heard on the band. Conditions seemed very poor. Web rx. (12 July)
3905.5 R. Sanussi 1802 easy instru. mx at t/in. Nonstop soft German Pops, Schlagers, and even a Polka. Finally Dutch anmnt at 1855 w/ment of amateurs, bye bye, freq, R. Pacman, and ID. W was also hrd in the background once. Heavy slop QRM from 3900. Web rx. (12 July)
