A Memorable Meeting

Post by Dave Valko »

(I know this isn't the place for this, but I figured its where many of you who attended the Borderhunter Summer Meeting 2008 will see it.)

Its been a few days now since I've returned from the Summer Meeting 2008 and finally have a moment to write. Time and logistics won't allow me to send each of you an e-mail personally, so please forgive this 'bulk' message!!

It was a fantastic time and pleasure to met so many of you there!! The grand spirit of the free radio hobby is alive and well!! My hat goes off to the thoughtful host (you know who you are!!) for the perfect gathering atmosphere!! The tremendous effort was certainly appreciated. And I can't imagine a better place for the meeting!! Thanks to all for the kind comments and great conversation. You made me feel like part of the free radio family. The only regret is that I wasn't able to have a proper goodbye Sunday morning. Anyway, thanks for a wonderful time and hopefully we'll see you again!!
