Free radio pirates on medium and short wave messageboard of alfa lima

Hardly any noise on the band on Saturday,although not many stations heard I hoped this would be the same on Sunday.
Sunday morning,tuned into Orion and the band sounded quiet.As I tried to get over the loss of an hour's sleep I tuned up the band............NOISE!
What a let down!There were some breaks in the noise here,but not as nice as Saturday.
For a fairly quiet weekend I had strong signals from Orion,Merlin,VOTN & Calypso.
Some really nice music from VOTN.........sorry,I got carried away in my listing of songs played below!
Calypso still with mod problems.Muffled mic(At times),sounds like he changes the mic & one of them is OK.And still that "Clipping" mod,like a compressor on too high.

Still with "Clipping" mod,worse on mic than on music.

Hello Andy,

I think all the HF went down in London, at my town there was nearly nothing from 1000km araund.
On Sunday I heard
Merlin on 6280 with 35433
Radio Condor on 6300 with 0 to 1
and the usual 3935 and 6220
and then my children liked to be with their dad. They sounded so much better than what I heard on shortwave.

At saturday evening I tried the medium wave 1645 and enjoyed Radio Barones with a nice show and some Dutch Rock from Normaal and Radio Hawai on 1652 with music from Cory. Hawai was much stronger than Barones. May be Baro was testing a 20watts rig from Dave from WNKR?

I could not listen to my favorite German stations for month. Where are Likedeeler, Bermuda and Thunderbird? May be they are audible in Eastern Sri Lanka or in the US but not here.

Wow Axel, still sad about the propagations? I can understand this of course. Also for pirates it is not much fun when putting some power on air and don't get any responce, but as Andy wrote; "it will improve" We keep on rocking the airwaves.
