Could you check how is the frequency before starting transmission ?

Late afternoon and evening, there is a powerful station from central Asia on 6260 kHz.

Nothing less than 100 kW into a giant antenna can compete !

I was digging and digging on both 6261 and 8005 kHx but

I was trying all the time 1900-2000... The lady propagation you mention didn´t appear up here either. Around 2000 Barretina came in well on 6311.1, Power FM not as strong as usual on 6882 and Spider weak on 6925.
From my point of view the radioweather was best in direction Iberia, but not good enough for 5 watts from Portugal this evening. Perhaps next time.
