Posted: Sun Mar 02, 2008 21:45 pm
First Sunday in a while that I've had the chance to listen: poor conditions, but a good signal from Borderhunter at least. Does anyone know anything about the Nordzee or Northsea intl. on 6400?
6270kHz, Radio Altrex with c/down anns in English at 1210UTC. 24222.
6280kHz, Radio Borderhunter signing on with long "Free radio knows no boundaries" loop, followed by Summermeeting advert at 0932UTC. SINPO 44444, fading out a bit later.
6295kHz (approx) UNID playing "Blue Hotel" at 1029, "Take My Breath Away" at 1031, "Everybody Wants to Rule the World" at 1036 and "Walk Like an Egyptian" at 1043UTC. No announcements heard. 24222.
6310kHz, UNID playing dance music at 1036UTC. 24222. Might have been Malaisy per Achim's blog.
6375kHz, UNID heard with barely audible music at 1003UTC. 23221.
6400kHz, Radio Northsea or Nordzee Intl. playing Bronski Beat, "Smalltown Boy" at 0923UTC, Jeff Wayne's "War of the Worlds" theme at 0935. Dutch IDs at 0941 and before s/off 0945UTC. 34222. Mp3 available.
FRG-7 + indoor wire + matching transformer.
All frequencies +/- a few kHz as ever, sorry...
Best to all,
Peter
