Very "back-of-box" and well into the noise on the portable in the garden with a "wind-up" portable antenna, but I will keep listening, and let you know if it improves.

Much better reception on the portable at around 16.35, (if that's you playing Hotel California) ... Still some heavy fading ... but getting better.
Around s7 on the base rig indoors and less noise.
