6 OCTOBER 2007: With sunset coming much earlier, thought I'd go up to the remote site to listen in the early evening. Propagation wasn't very good, but I still managed to hear a few things.

QTH: Pennsylvania State Game Lands #26
Duration: 2105-2230 UTC

6305.8 R. Brandaris 2105 getting bits of audio w/slop QRM from 6300 Sahara. A little more audio by 2115. 2137 pleasant DT Pop song. 2142 M in slight echo over mx w/ID, ment of 6306, phone 0031-630-965772, and e-mail addr. 2155 canned M w/ID, phone, and e-mail quickly, then into Polka. Another live anmnt at 2203. Was gone when I returned at 2212. Fair at best. Actually I was kind of surprised it was coming in so early. (6 Oct.)

6400.08 WMR 2107 Rock song at start. 2110 ID and anmnts. 2111 jingle, song anmnt. 2215 ment of the Beatles and also WMR. Getting hammered by UTEs but readable. A little clearer in USB. Pretty strong by 2154. (6 Oct.)

6210 Weak carrier here at 2135, then sounded like mx at 2209 and 2218, but just too weak. Think this may just be a spur. (6 Oct.)

6290.84 R. Fox 48 Definitely here w/mx at 2204. Poss. anmnt at 2205 but couldn't be sure. 2206 more mx. UTEs then for a minute, and then it was gone at 2207. Not hrd again. (6 Oct.)

Now a few loggings from home:

6400.08 WMR Could hear it around 0700 w/mx and recognized Jacks voice. Poor. There was a signal w/only bits of audio on 3910.14 as well. Conditions just not that good. (7 Oct.)

5720.04 Orion R. (pres.) Definitely caught M anncr at 0701, then into mx. Went downhill quickly. Unreadable. (7 Oct.)

Here are a few loggings using the Bedfordshire UK Web receiver:

6266 R. Galaxy Was already tuned to this here when I checked in at 1152. There was an ID but I couldn't copy it. Apparently its R. Galaxy per ukDXer blog and the board here. I think it went off just before 1200. (7 Oct.)

6524 R. Ramona 1153-1156* Just caught the end of the broadcast. Ment of 6524, IDs, radioramona@hotmail.com e-mail addr, jingles, ment of “…Lord of the new church…â€
