Can anyone in NL HEAR IF THERE IS A STATION ON 3910 ON TOP OF wmr, OR IS IT A BLANK CARRIER WHICH HAS BEEN ON TOP, WARBLING AWAY FOR A WHILE...

Unsure if it is a station, or a carrier, perhaps the hoax WMR which was on a few weeks ago????

Any assistance would be appreciated.....

Jack

I was right! Either somebody is very stupid or they wish to start a war, or both!
I bet they are sitting in a inebriated state at the bottom of their garden laughing their heads off!
Forget which country they come from, if you know who the idiot is tell us!
That way they will have stop.

Dave.

Unable to hear much of WMR here, Only a warbling het.

WMR is one of the best, most respected in the business. I'm afraid I have to agree with Dave, this appears to be deliberate jamming for no other point than for someone to get a kick out of (or bears a grudge against) WMR.

Utterly pointless, and a disgrace to the otherwise friendly and helpful european free radio scene.

Who ever it is, Bugger off!

No problems with reception overhere S9+10 to S9+20 dB's overhere and nice and strong audio.

But who's on 3925 with similar signal, It seems to be an English station, but I did not (yet) hear any ID.

I heard 3925 was not such a fine frequency to use because of the English Airforce using this same frequency and already one or even more Dutch stations got a strong request not to use this freq.

i think it was bogusman then on 3907 cause he was using this frequency before wmr entered the 76 meterband a few weeks ago.

WMR Jamming

Well thank you fellows for the assistance tonight. The signal of the jammer certainly caused much more disruption to WMR in the south of the UK and benelux than listeners in the northern part, which suggests a location to the south. Distinctive warble on the carrier.. weird.

Thak you for your kind words bycross.. Appreciated. We do our best....

6400 packed up earlier by the way, it should be back tomorrow at some point...

I dont think I have upset anyone enough to warrant deliberate jamming. It certainly gave me the impression it was deliberate... .

Last weeks Atlantis problem I do not believe was deliberate or malicious, and I left a message on the programme section as requested last week. I thanked Radio Atlantis for his cooperation last week here in these pages...

Neither can I say, was the mystery signal from the reflections europe transmitter. In the Northern part of the UK, the signal from that transmitter would have been much much stronger.

Let's see what happens, but again I thank you guys for the assistance.

Jack
