Hello Jojo,

thanks for your reply.

It seems that - after 30 years - my receiver needs some re-calibration ...

On some freqs add 5khz others deduct 5khz!
Mind you not surprising as the RX is analogue.
Take a look at the picture of his RX,
http://www.geocities.com/grundigradioboy/s210.jpg
they say it was the best of the range and as he hears all of our stations it must be true!
Good radio!!!!

Dave.

Hello folks,

thank you very much for your help!

@Dave
The receiver on your picture seems to be an older version. I use this one here:
http://www.rigpix.com/grundig/satellit2100.htm

But you are right: its analogue.
This is not really a problem as long as I'm inside the spread 49-m-band, where I have a good resolution and can calibrate the scale with the help of known radio stations. But this goes up to only 6280 kHz.
So, usually, I use the non-spread scale which covers 5.0 - 6.6 MHz with much lower resolution. So my frequencies are never very precise. I hope you'll accept me anyhow in the forum... ;)

By the way: today I realised that "R. Francia", as I wrote above, was in fact R. Valencia.

Hello Manfred,

I guess it's no problem at all, Your logs are good and you wrote "on approx. xxxxkc" so no problem. Logs are always welcome, so keep on Rocking the Shortwave.
