Deep fading today, but a few stations did very well on low power. Noise levels very high around 0930, reducing a bit later. Most stations faded out by about 1045.

Saturday 10th February

6290kHz, UNID (I think Flux AM) playing "All Shook Up" at 1200UTC and asking for reports at 1229. 24322.

6300kHz, Radio Merlin with ID at 1148UTC. 35433.

Sunday 11th February

5725kHz, Orion Radio, 0756 playing KC and the Sunshine Band. 45433 at 0756, but barely audible ten minutes before and after this. Improved again to 34422 at 0843UTC.

6210kHz, Radio Bonofox giving ID and email address at 0825. 23422, but occasional S9+ peaks. Operator says he was only running 15 watts today.

6210kHz, Bogusman playing XTC at 0937. 34333.

6225kHz, Radio Atlantis playing Wilson Phillips at 0927. 42322 under splash from AWR 6230. Moved to 6220 shortly afterwards, much better at 44333 -- strongest signal of the morning.

6240kHz, BRI playing "Rainbow Valley" at 1001UTC in the 60s Flashback show, replacing the scheduled programme. 43433, very good but some splash from 6230...

6265kHz, UNID (Premier?) playing "Smoke on the Water" at 1020. 23322 struggling against local TVI...

6275kHz, UNID (Laser?) at 1041 playing "One Way Ticket" by Boney M. 24322.

6293kHz, Antonio Radio, giving SMS no. at 0913 and playing "Crazy Horses" by The Osmonds at 0951... 23322 with some UTE QRM.

6305kHz, West Coast playing Paul Simon at 1033. 24322.

6525kHz, UNID (probably Ramona) heard very faintly with music at 0947. 23311.

6910kHz (approx), UNID barely audible playing music at 0948. Might have been All Europe Radio. 24321.

FRG-7 + indoor wire.
All frequencies +/- a little...

Best to all,

Peter

Hi Undigest!

It probably was us you heard, as we were on 6910 (6912.4) kHz at 0948 hrs UTC. Shame we were barely audible at your QTH. Don't think the conditions were in our favour today.

Many thanks for the log!

Cheers,
AER
